Call Plus Outage Affects Us

Call Plus had an outage on Friday morning and early afternoon that saw some people unable to reach the sites we host. It was a "global" Call Plus fault (So not just us), but was a disappointing way to finish the week.

I haven't had anything from Call Plus on what the fault actually was. It manifested as people from other networks not being able to reach us, and us not being able to reach them. It started sometime overnight, our best guess is between 12 midnight and 2am, and wasn't resolved until 2pm.

We will review our options for automatic fail overs to another ISP should a similar fault arise.
